One Size Does Not Fit All

I was talking with an individual who just joined the Internet Marketing Inner Circle (TIMIC), Willie Crawford’s membership site. I talked about it a few days ago when I talked about some of the various membership sites that I belong to.

You can learn more about TIMIC by clicking here

One of the great things about TIMIC is that new people are constantly joining us there. Some of the members are just starting out in their efforts to build an online business; others already have experience and their expertise is a welcome addition. Every new member makes TIMIC even more valuable.

This new member that I was talking to (via the private messaging function that’s a part of the TIMIC membership) is a virtual assistant. I’ve learned a lot from the few exchanges that we’ve already had.

Which led to the subject line I chose for this particular post. There really are many ways to earn money from your home via the Internet.

You see, there are a lot of “hammers” out there who think that, for you (the proverbial “nail”), there is only one way that you can build an Internet-based business. A lot of people will stop just short of claiming that you are foolish if you do anything besides product creation / affiliate marketing / pay per click website building / fill in the blank. I’m beginning to realize that this is pure nonsense because there are many ways to earn money online — and a real need for all types of goods and services.

I’m perfectly happy building websites, creating products, doing various marketing activities, and all that, but for some, all they want is something that will allow them to stay at home while still earning some money. Some will question your decision and say that there is only one way to build a business. I’ve decided to expand my horizons a bit and try to figure out some ways to help you get what
you want, even if it’s not something that I prefer to do.

As always, I want to look at things before I make recommendations, but I’m hoping to soon gain access to some products that can help people who simply want to do the kind of work that a virtual assistant would do. I’ll learn a lot from it, too, because I am rapidly approaching the point where I’m going to need help (actually, I’m already there!), and my research will help me better understand how to best work with virtual assistants.

I also want to set up a membership site that will provide you with professionally written emails that can be used to promote specific products on ClickBank. I’m still working out the details on that; hopefully the details will soon fall into place so that I can offer it to you.

I’m glad that I’m a member over at TIMIC and that there are opportunities for me to learn. And since my goal is to simply help people, hopefully I’ll be able to offer some other suggestions for earning money at home.

Thanks for listening,
Tom
