I’m On A Mission

I think I was first introduced to the music of John Fischer back in 1977 when I first joined the Army. In the 31 years since then I’ve come to appreciate not only his music, but the thoughtful insights that he provides to every day life situations. Right now he sends out a devotional newsletter from his website at www.fischtank.com. I look forward to receiving it daily.

John has talked about the difference between “hanging in there”, “getting by”, and “being on a mission” the past couple of days. While there are definitely spiritual implications, I’d like to talk about the implications for your business on this blog (at least for today).

The main thought that comes to mind is that you can’t just be “getting by” if you are on a mission to build a successful business. Do you have a mission? If so, what is your tactical plan for executing it? If you have a mission and a plan and are executing it, then success should be yours, on its way, or you should be looking for another plan.

In my case, I’m now working from a plan and I’m starting to see a difference. I’d like to encourage you to find a plan and stick with it.

If you need a good plan, I’ll post a link within the next day or two to a plan that I recently purchased that I truly believe is one worth considering.

Thanks for listening,
Tom
