For several reasons (which I won’t go into here) I have set up a “mini-office” in the corner of the living room. I use a laptop computer so it’s no problem to move back to my regular office should the need arise.
I already like it for one thing it has given me — the ability to watch my computer training videos on the television set.
My television sits fairly close to my computer and can act as a computer monitor. I connected a long video cable to my laptop and the television set, ran a cable from the headphone jack on the computer to the sound input to the television set, and I can now watch my videos from the comfort of my couch.
I’ll be watching a lot more videos in the days to come — a good thing.
So I’m a bit more productive now. What you have you done this week to improve your situation?
Thanks for listening,
Tom
P.S. — I’m currently watching Aaron Brandon’s Blog Cast Course. It’s a great course to get if you want to know how to set up a blog on your own website and will take you by the hand and show you everything you need to know. It would be a great “first course” to watch once you connect your computer to your television set!
