I Am An Analyst

A highly successful Internet Marketer and businessperson recently asked me a question that deserves an answer:

What can you do better than anybody else?

Now if you are going to be honest with yourself, that’s a very difficult question to answer. If you simply want to brag or “believe anything” you can come up with a fast answer, but my nature won’t allow it. Instead, I wrote back to the marketer and honestly told him that it wasn’t an easy question to answer, but I would think about it and let him know.

Having thought about it for several days now, I can honestly say that it’s another one of those questions that is going to change my business and my future. I still don’t have a firm answer, but I do have what I think is a decent answer:

I am an analyst.

I was an analyst before I was anything else (linguist, system and network administrator, security expert, father, husband, business owner, marketer) and have been honing this skill for over 30 years.

I possess the skills and training to take a look at something and figure out how it works, even if it is not obvious at first.

I can look at something and almost literally read between the lines to see what’s been added but not mentioned.

And I also realized that I can apply this skill to my Internet Marketing and business building knowledge to help a lot of people.

So Tom Brownsword is now an online business analyst. And I’d like to show you a sample of what I’m capable of doing.

The next post on this blog (I’ll include a link to it once I post it) will tell you how you can get an analysis that I started today. It’s based on an email from another well-known marketer. I had purchased a product from him several months ago and he sent me an email to tell me about a new version of the product. Nothing remarkable there; it’s just HOW he did it that’s amazing.

I strongly urge you to look for that blog post and get a copy of that case study analysis. It will show you ways that you can increase your revenues just by giving a free upgrade to a product. It can also show a possible way to offer free upgrades that still produce revenue for your business.

But enough for now; this online business analyst has some analyzing to do!

Thanks for listening,
Tom
