Blogs making trackback comments to my blog from a .info domain name.
Domain name registered on October 13, 2007.
First blog: Posted a trackback to my blog on October 20, 2007 — seven days after the domain is registered. It’s post number 5,336 on that blog (and they are using WordPress).
Second blog, same domain (different sub-domain): Posted a trackback to my blog on October 21, 2007. It’s post number 7600 on that blog.
Tens of thousands of posts in about a week (and who knows how many other blogs are on this domain in different sub-domains?).
Should I give them some “link love” and approve their trackbacks?
I’ve already made my decision: spam, don’t approve, and block the IP.
On the other hand, the Akismet spam has increased dramatically over the past week (it dropped off to almost nothing after I committed blogicide a while back), so it’s good to be popular again. I think…
