I came across a post on James Brausch’s blog today and want to have a bit of fun with it. The first person to correctly tell me why James made this blog entry gets a copy of James’ book, “The Internet Business Book, Volume 1″. I have two copies of the book and only need one — and would like to see the extra copy in the hands of somebody who will put it to good use.

There’s just one catch (well two, actually); you have to include a link to the post on his blog where he explains why he would post such a strange thing on his blog. Here’s the only hint I’ll give you; he didn’t have to post it on his blog; he could have posted it somewhere else.

The second catch? I need to verify the reason with James, which I’ll do next Monday when I send him my Magical Email Address weekly email. But I’m 99.9% sure that I know the reason.

If you already have James’ book and yours is the winning entry, we’ll come up with some other prize.

OK, one more catch… You have to send your contest entry to me by midnight, Pacific Coast Time on Sunday, December 16, 2007 — and you have to send it to me by hitting the “Reply” button on any blog annoucement email that I send out between now and next Sunday (you can reply to the email that announced this post if you are already a subscriber). This is the only way to enter; no comments, no trackbacks, and you can’t use my contact form (it will be gone soon anyway; keep watching this blog to find out why I’m removing it). If you’re not subscribed, sign up now and hope that I send another announcement before then (there will be at least one more announcement before the end of this week, I promise). Please include your mailing address with your entry so that I know where to send the book if you win.

I’ll post the answer sometime early next week.

If nobody wins, I’ll choose the “best incorrect answer” (in my sole judgment) and send it to that person anyway.
