I’ve Deleted My Contact Form

My contact form is gone. Go ahead; click on that link. You’ll be taken to the same URL where my contact form used to be, but the form won’t be there. Instead, you’ll find new instructions on how to contact me.

To save you, my blog readers, a bit of time, I’ll tell you what you now need to do if you want to contact me:

1. Sign up for my blog announcement list.

2. If you want to contact me, simply find the most recent blog announcement email in your Inbox, open it, and hit the “Reply” button. Type your email and hit “Send”.

A couple of things to note:

1. You have to use the most recent blog announcement email. You can’t use any other announcement email — only the most recent one. Any other emails will not even be seen by me; my filters will delete them long before the emails hit my Inbox. This way, only current subscribers can contact me and I don’t lose time trying to communicate with people who only want to hear from me when there’s an issue.

2. No product support! All of my products have customer support email addresses; any requests for help with a product sent to this address will be deleted and ignored. Please use the systems I have in place if you need help; you get an answer faster and I don’t have to sit in front of my computer 25 hours a day replying to emails that could have been answered more efficiently elsewhere (my J.O.B. pays me well enough and only requires 8 hours a day; why would I trade that for a business that requires more?). Thanks for respecting my time.

3. I check this email account personally, but I only check email to this address once every couple of days (and completely ignore it when I’m on vacation), so please don’t expect a super-fast response.

4. This is not a permanent arrangement. I will pull this capability at some point in the near future and replace it with a different contact system.

I value my announcement subscribers. There are so many things to do with your limited time. I appreciate the fact that you allow me to take up valuable space in your Inbox and that you take a few moments out of your busy day to visit my blog. This is one way that I can show my appreciation, and until my list grows to the point where I’m spending too much time answering emails, I’ll keep this system in place.

While I truly do want to talk to people, my business is getting to the point where I have to guard my time a bit. I’m simply taking steps to guard my time while taking care of people who have shown an interest in keeping the lines of communication open. Along the same lines, I’m going to stop answering what I consider to be “frequently asked questions”; instead, I’ll develop some type of system that will give answers to those type of questions. That way I can help those who ask questions like, “How can I make money online?” without it becoming a distraction.

One more thing: If I’m attending a live event and you are there, PLEASE take a moment to introduce yourself. In spite of all the technology I deal with on a daily basis, I’m still a bit old-fashioned; I simply LOVE to meet people face-to-face. I’m the kind of guy who will walk 2-3 miles to avoid making a phone call…!!! And I’ll be glad to meet you at a coffee shop if you happen to be in my part of the world (currently just south of Stuttgart, Germany). Just send me an email if you’re going to be close; you know how to contact me (and I must apologize; I’d love to invite you to my home, but family safety rules state that first-time visits are done outside the home, in a public place… thanks for understanding).

Thanks for listening,
Tom

P.S. — A few of you may have another email address… That one is still “good”.
