Mike, I just received an email from you asking me to click on a link to verify that my email isn’t spam.
While I appreciate the fact that you signed up for my blog announcement list, I can’t click on that link. This blog makes me money, which makes it a commercial blog, so the emails I send are technically commercial email.
When I click on those links, I’m agreeing to the terms of the company that produces your spam solution. Some of those terms state that I’ll pay several thousand dollars for each commercial email I send. I obviously can’t agree to that.
So unfortunately, I had to delete your email. I can’t click on that link and commit myself to paying tens of thousands of dollars.
Instead, you (and anybody else using one of those solutions) will have to white list my email address if you want to receive my blog announcements.
Here’s the email address you’ll need to whitelist (it’s a graphic, so if you can’t see it, make sure that your browser is configured to view graphics):
If you signed up for other mailing lists and are wondering why you never heard from the person, this is probably why. You have to white list the email address; we cannot do it without agreeing to pay lots of money.
Thanks for understanding,
Tom
