A few months ago I wrote a post about eating a green smoothie. Wow. Are you excited?
Well, since I haven’t been eating 100% raw for the last couple of months but want to get back there, I’m working on my transition plan. One of the things I discovered is that I simply must incorporate more vegetables into my daily meals. I suspect that a part of my desire to return to cooked foods is because I needed some nutrient or mineral that’s present in vegetables that I wasn’t getting enough of. My diet did consist primarily of fruit, which is better than what a lot of people eat but still isn’t optimal.
I remembered that I had written the post about eating a green smoothie. I was able to go back and find it quite easily. The reason I wanted it is because I actually liked that one and wanted to duplicate my effort, using it as a starting point for making even better green smoothies.
That’s one reason why I’m glad that I started this blog. I’m now able to go back and find posts like this. I can even go back and read all of my posts from the start, taking in the lessons I’ve already learned but may have forgotten. It’s a benefit of blogging that I had never considered before.
And with many no-cost blogging platforms available (like Google’s Blogger and WordPress.com), what’s stopping YOU from starting a blog? Even if you are the only person who ever reads it, you can still benefit from the experience.
Smacznego,
Tom

Hi Tom,
Interesting concept..eating only raw. Will have to do some reading on that. We do eat salads and at times other veggies raw, but as the exception not as a rule.
What I wanted to comment about is the last bit (where my ear’s “perked up”) was about blogging and the large number of avenues by which people can get started blogging>
Interesting benefits that you mentioned..and in fact because blogs originally were basic online diaries, it then follows that one can look back to earlier posts for information included there, or even to check ones own progress.
You’ll have to agree with me however that not having anyone to come by regularly and post comments is a real drag.
Although a blog is a diary it is also online..and the whole intent of that is for others to see it, and in that we need visitors, and this is the case for social marketing.
In our case, you made a thoughtful reply and mention of me in your recent “group” post in the Turbo Sitting Room, and I followed your links back to visit and comment here.
So many people miss the point of doing all that.
Anyway. I ramble.
Thanks and see you “over there”.
Tim
