Keep It Simple

Simple.

I moved from Germany to Colorado Springs is 2010, bought a huge house, and proceeded to fill it with stuff. I thought I was ready to “rot in place”, let the kids grow up, etc.

I was wrong.

We want adventure and experiences. We want to live near the ocean in a small community. We want to travel.

So we’re slowly getting rid of all that stuff and eliminating needless complexities in our life.  We intend to someday do an extended thru-hike of one of national scenic trails. Or maybe all of them.

Minimalism? Maybe that’s what we’re after. Maybe not. We’ll find out when we get down to a comfortable level of stuff.

But simple leaves room for a lot of creativity, better relationships, and more interesting experiences.

Simple. I like it.
